Hi, my name is Ekaterina. My life is breeding, growing, and showing Airedale Terriers. I have been doing this since 1981. After Estonia joined the FCI, I registered my kennel using the affix “Katherina’s Land”, and our first litter was born under this affix in 1991. Since that time, many of our dogs have won many shows at different levels. I don’t expect that owners of our dogs must participate in showing their dogs. The most important thing for me is that our puppies find a good and loving new owner, but I will be very happy if the new owner involves the dog in agility training or showing their dog.
Selling you one of our dogs is not the end of our interest in that dog. We want to offer you help with trimming and solving any problems you encounter throughout the whole life of the dog. Our puppies are brought up in our home, not in a kennel. We sell our puppies from 2 months of age with the necessary injections, worming, microchip, pedigree, and Euro passport. Puppies from our breeding live in Estonia, Russia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Finland, Norway, and England. I couldn’t do all this without the strong support of my husband, Valery who has helped me for many years. This is our life. We invite you to meet our dogs.
A Little History
My first Airedale (Apash) was born on 14/04/1980, and was highly trained and gave good show results. My second Airedale (Orkash, Apash’s son) was bought from Moscow, but unfortunately his life was short. After his death, I started to think about buying a bitch abroad. I saw a picture of Tintara Much Enough in a magazine and fell in love with her immediately. At that time, her sister had puppies but they were only males. So I bought one of the males, Big Lady’s X-Temporal (Tarik) from Finland. He had excellent show results during his life, and was also a dog with a wonderful character (wise and very kind); a real King of Terriers. As soon as I bought Tarik, I realized that I needed help to learn how to trim him. Pirjo Hjelm, the owner of the Big Lady’s kennel taught me for 3 months how to trim Tarik to show standards. The year after, I brought Red Diadem’s Barbi (Barbi), my first bitch from Finland. She produced lots of champions during her life. The year after that, I bought a daughter of Tintara Much Enough who turned out to be my favourite dog (Big Lady’s Dainty Enough (Kirsy)). This bitch was the mother of Big Lady’s Manipulator (Dandy). Barby and Kirsy were the basis of our Airedale breeding. In our kennel, we have 19 International Champions, and 3 English Champions. Our Airedales have the champion titles of Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Belarus, Ukraine, Poland, Romania, Finland, Denmark, Sweden, Russia. We also have 1 junior European winner and 1 junior World winner.
I am a member of the Estonian Kennel Club and also a member of the following breed clubs:-
Estonian Airedale Terrier Club
National Airedale Terrier Association of UK
Finnish Airedale Terrier Club
Estonian Terrier Club
Conclusion
From all my heart, I want to thank all the owners of our puppies who chose an Airedale Terrier and found a faithful friend. Our lives are better from the presence of our favourite Airedales.
